Minissha Lamba’s birthday is on 18th January. A 1985 born, she was born in to a Sikh family. Her parents are in the hospitality industry. She studied for a while at Chettinand Vidyashram, Chennai. Miranda House, New Delhi is where she pursued a degree in English, while dabbling in modeling. Her other release Dus Kahaniyan failed at the box office.Her most talked about movies in 2008, both of which turned out to be average performers, were Bachna Hai Haseeno with Ranbir Kapoor and Kidnap with Imran Khan.

Basics:-
Charmy Kaur was born on May 17, 1987 in Mumbai, India and finished her schooling from Carmelite Convent English High School, Vasai. She started acting when she was only 15 years old. Her first movie was Nee Thodu Kaavali where she was a house wife.

Movies:-
Charmy’s first two movies were big flops (Kadal Azhavatillai and Nee Thodu Kaavali) but it gave her recognition in the South Indian Film Industry. She acted in a Malayalam movie Kattuchembakam, and some more Telugu movies like Sri Anjaneyam and Chanti. They did not run successfully and were big failures.

She finally found success with the Telugu movie Gowri and then Mass with Nagarjuna. Her most disappointing movie till now was Anukokunda Oka Roju and her performance was criticized.

Her dancing skills were appreciated in the movie Pournami (2006) and she was also praised for her movies like Chinnodu, Rakhi and Mantra. Some of her recent Telugu movies are Manorama, Sye Aata, Kavya's Diary and Mayagadu.

She has received awards for Best Actress for Mantra and also the Santosham Best Actress Award for Anukokunda Oka Roju.

Sonu Sood was born on 30th July in Moga, Punjab. He was one of three children with two sisters making up the trio. His father was an entrepreneur while his mother was a teacher.

Sood’s school days were spent in Punjab. He graduated in Electronic Engineering in Nagpur. After walking the ramp in a couple of fashion shows, he participated in the Grasim Mr. India contest and was ranked in the top five.

His wife’s name is Sonali and they have a son called Ishan.

2001 to 2003 :- Sonu Sood made his acting debut in a Tamil movie Majnu (2001) as Rinke Khanna’s brother. Kaizad Gustad’s Boom (2003) which explored the darker side of the glamour world was a huge flop.

2004 to 2006 :- Sood was seen in Mani Rathnam’s Yuva (2004) as Gopal Singh. He got a chance to work with Mani Rathnam in the Tamil movie Aayitha Ezhuthu (2004) which had Madhavan, Surya and Siddharth in the lead.

In 2005 he was seen in Sheesha, Chandramukhi and Athadu. He was seen in a lead role in Aashig Banaya Aapne with Tanushree Dutta and Emraan Hashmi. He appeared in the Telugu movie Asoka (2006).

2007 to 2009 :- In 2008, he acted in a Telugu movie with Genelia D’Souza and played the role of Prince Sujamal in the award winning Jodhaa Akbar. He had another hit in his hands with Singh is Kinng, in which he played a mafia head.

In 2009, he will be seen in Umesh Shukla’s Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge and in a Telugu movie Arundhati in which he practices the dark arts.

Prakash Raj Biography

Prakash Raj BiographyPrakash Raj is a famous actor of the Tollywood and Kollywood film industry.

Early Days:-
Prakash Rai was born in the year 1965 in Mangalore, Karnataka. His schooling is from St.Joseph's High School in Bangalore and his college days were spent at St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore. Prakash was always interested in acting and debating, and was well known for his talents both in school and college. His mother tongue is Tulu and Kannada.

He changed his name to Prakash Raj based on South-Indian director Kailasam Balachander's advice.

As an actor:-
He has acted in a number of Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films. After acting in a few Kannada Doordarshan serials like Bisilu Kudure and Guddada Bhootha. He started taking upsupporting roles in Kannada movies like Nishkarsha, Lockup Death and Raamachari. In 1997 he got a break in Nagamandala, directed by T.S Naghabarana.

In 1997 alongside superstar Mohanlal he acted in Mani Ratnam's Iruvar and won the National Award for Best Supporting Actor for this role. Prakash was seen in a negative role in one of his greatest hits Okkadu. It was remade in Tamil as Ghilli and in Kannada as Ajay. After the success of this movie he got plenty of offers. This versatile actor played a comic role in Mozhi and his performance was liked by all. He has acted in more than 30 movies.

Prakash has more than four releases this year. He will be playing a character named Gani Bhai in the Salman Khan starrer Wanted (2009) and will also appear in Zamaanat (2009) starring Amitabh Bachchan and Karishma Kapoor. The actor received the National Award for Best Actor for the Tamil movie Kanchivaram.

As a Producer :-
He has produced a number of box office hit Tamil movies. Prakash starred opposite Meena in one of his productions Dhaya. This movie was a hit and also earned him the National Award's Special Jury Award in 2003.

K.Balachander's Poi was a non-grosser. Here both the producer (Prakash Rai) and director acted in the positive and negative roles.
