Shenaz Treasurywala Biography

Shenaz Treasurywala is a travel writer, VJ, model and actress.

Shenaz:-
Shenaz Treasurywala was born on 29th June 1977 to a Parsi family. He father was a merchant marine. She went to St Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She has studied method acting at Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute and completed a writing course at NYU.

Quick Bites:-
Shenaz is 5’4” tall.

She frequently indulges in photography, playing the piano and guitar, jet skiing, traveling, scuba diving, writing, swimming and hiking.

Work it!:-
She drew the attention of a photographer while she was in college and took up modeling assignments. She was seen in commercials like Gold Spot, Philips, Trigger Jeans and Elle 18.

After doing some work for Akai and Philips, she joined MTV and hosted the show MTV Most Wanted and MTV Whatever Things.

Apart from acting Shenaz is also seen on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, aired on Star One.

Wanderlust:-
Shenaz loves to travel and she has lived in Hong Kong, Thailand, New York and Los Angeles. Her travel accounts have been published in Cosmopolitan, Elle and Femina.

She has also hosted the show Culture Shock on Discovery Travel Channel.

Movies:-
In 2003 she made her debut in Bollywood with Ishq Vishk with Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao. Her performance as Alisha one of Shahid’s love interest in the movie earned her a nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award.

In 2004, she had a part in Hum Tum and in 2009 she has two movies and she is playing the lead roles in both. In Aage Se Right (2009) she plays Pearl, a dancer in a bar. She will also be starring opposite Imraan Khan in the comedy Delhi Belly.
