Poorna Jagannathan is an actress who will be familiar to the Indian audience when Delhi Belly is released.

Poorna Jagannathan was born on 22nd December 1972 in Tunis, Tunisia. She has lived in many countries like Pakistan, Brazil, Argentina, and Ireland.

Her step brother, Sean T.Krishnan, is also in show business.

The Actress:-
Poorna Jagannathan has appeared in many American television shows like Law & Order which was nominated for the Golden Globe Awards. She was seen in an episode of Love Monkey in 2006.

Jagannathan also has a handful of movie appearances to her credit, though they were mostly minor roles like the Gwenyth Paltrow starrer Dealbreaker (2005) where she played Fran’s girlfriend and Montclair (2007) which saw her as Dr.Blight.

In 2009, she will be part of Sarbha Das’ Karma Calling. Abhinay Deo’s Delhi Belly, which stars Imran Khan, will see her in the role of Menaka. It is touted as a sex comedy. She has a major role in a Canadian movie The Game, also slated for release in 2009.
